I used to use Globat, but they kept ‘upgrading’ my webspace without asking me then automatically charging me $49.99 for it. This occured 3 times in the space of about 2 years. I finally decided to find a new host when Globats servers began being attacked by ‘Denial of Service’ attacks’ aka DOS Attacks. They have not as of yet been able to stop it so thats when I decided to move.

I moved my site to HostingPad and so far so good. I have my domain names separately with dotster.com which makes it easier to move from one website host to another.

I use Heart Internet for my business. a .co.uk domain costs £2.59 a year and they offer free hosting (100meg bandwidth), may or may not be the best option for you but it’s cheap ;)
use this link for the free hosting as it’s a ***** to find from their front page

If you want to start your business website I recommend purchase your domain and hosting together. In this way it is possible to get your domain for free. Some hosting services offer this gift today.
Don’t trust dishonest claims like Best web hosting only $1 or Get the cheapest web hosting without sacrificing quality and features!!. Take into consideration that some hosting companies are cheating and lying to their customers. It is very important that your service be uptime. It means that you can access your account whenever you want to update your web pages, and your visitors can view your website whenever they input your website address. If your hosting service is not uptime it can be real hell!
Take a look at: There you can reach the three reputable companies that are leaders in the E-commerce web hosting industry.

several options
1) you can purchase a domain name at go daddy and host elsewhere
you just point the dns to the hosting company
it used to be that you had to host the website at the domain purchaser
no more. You can buy the domain name or names at one place and host elsewhere
2) for a budget host or domain name purchaser try 1 and 1

they are inexpensive - it is mostly automated - do not expect a lot of advanced tech support
but it is adequate in most cases

3) If you purchase a hosting package many will give you the initial domain as well

there are many

bluehost
hostgater
lunarpages
hostmonster among others
its generally in the range of $ 85 - 100 a year
you are allowed to host a number of sites - if you want more than one web site

All the web hosting / domain providers above are fine
there are no problems with any
If i had to pick one hosting service over the others it would be bluehost

if you have a number of domains try to purchase them at one place for convenience and tor reduce confusion

If you only need a simple web presence you might be able to do it with a simple wordpress blog

You should try

They charge $9.99/month, but they will actually help you with anything! They can help you install shopping carts, or anything else you need. Also, their servers are really reliable and always online, so you don’t have to worry about customers trying to get to your website and finding it’s not even available. Remember, you get what you pay for with web hosting, so don’t go too cheap. I would say this company is just right for you. They offer more space/bandwidth then you need, but honestly pretty much anyone who buys from them gets more than they need, they offer it just in case you might actually ever need it.
